Child Life and Developmental Services - Early Childhood Intervention

At every clinic visit, the Early Intervention Program provides developmental evaluations for children from birth who may be at risk for delays in growth and development. We provide parents with information on physical, mental and emotional growth and development in children age birth through five years so they know what to expect from their children as they mature. Child development information helps parents know when they are expecting too much from a child and to be alert to lags in development that may require professional help. Child Life specialists also coordinate necessary services for families so that the children can reach their full potential as they grow and develop.
