Analyze That Premiere Benefits Children of Bellevue’s Services

When famed Method actor Robert De Niro visited Bellevue’s psychiatric services in the spring of 2002, he gathered background information for his role in the sequel to Analyze This, the comical story of a mobster with emotional issues and his psychiatrist, played by Billy Crystal. Mr. De Niro was so impressed by the staff and the services that Bellevue provides, he encouraged Warner Brothers to designate Children of Bellevue as beneficiary of the proceeds raised by the sequel’s World Premiere.

The Analyze That premiere, held on December 2, 2002, earned nearly $75,000 in funds that will benefit Children of Bellevue programs, including pain management, early language services and providing holiday and other activities for children who live on Bellevue’s inpatient psychiatry units.
