Goldman Sachs Partners With C.O.B

Community TeamWorks is an innovative global program developed by Goldman Sachs, which encourages employees to spend one day volunteering in the community. In 2000, Goldman Sachs partnered with more than 560 organizations worldwide. Children of Bellevue joined the list of community partners for the first time in 2001.

Goldman Sachs' volunteers painted ceiling tiles that will distract children during medical procedures. A second group made improvements to the rooftop playground, which is used by children on the Inpatient Psychiatry Unit.

Children use art to express their hopes and aspirations as well as their conflicts and fears. Art helps children communicate and gain a sense of control over often-difficult circumstances.
